It is for the live-action videos I film when I'm out hanging with friends. The non-cartoons on my other channel will remain there. The new one is pretty much specifically for videos non-scripted and not in character, unlike Cat Talk with Mittens, my rap video, and even the saran wrap prank.

So um, this summer there will be a handful of new live-action videos up on my new channel. It's gonna be great. They will release whenever they happen.

Those Fat Americans is about halfway done as well. I'm trying to round up some voice actors so the process is taking even longer! :) Don't worry, the final product will not disappoint. It will be here sometime this summer. I'll post some screenshots here when I get around to it.

The new Cory: An Hero season three pilot comes out this summer too. Instead of me just cranking out the episodes when I get around to them, I'm gonna set up a little promotion campaign to increase demand and motivation. Because the newest Cory episodes have been the best yet and they are still getting less than 500 views over months of time. I must whore myself these days to get views!!! QUIT WATCHING SHANE DAWSON AND FIND STUFF THAT'S FUNNY AND NOT CORPORATE HOGWASH. :)

Oh yeah, that 5 Days cartoon. I'm still doing it. But it's a big project and it will probably be a while before I start production, man.

After 5 Days and the third season of Cory I'm going to go on a cartoon hiatus for a period of time. I think I may try out some real film-making instead. I got some crazy ideas in my head...

New Videos!

The season finale of Cory: An Hero is out! Twice the length since I've taken forever to finish it!



Last month I filmed a video making fun of a freshman at my high school. He thinks he can rap. I think he's a douche. So I out-rapped him by not even trying.



I decided to complete the third season of Cory: An Hero before I work on my new cartoon, 5 Days, which is now just a single, full-length cartoon instead of an entire series. Season 3 will begin this summer. 5 Days will be made late this year...trailer this summer. Yes, I'm really going to be working on these. I'm not going to announce a season of a cartoon and release the episodes six months apart again. More like one every month, like it used to be.

Cory Episode Update

Alright, so the script is entirely written and the voice acting is being worked on right now and will finish up by tomorrow.

This past week or so I got a part-time job so at the moment my focus has been side-tracked by this. It probably won't release for a while, but this episode isn't really hard to animate. Half of it is screenshots of emails on the screen. So it'll be done soon.

Cory Season Three?

It could happen. I put a lot of crap to do on my plate but I got some golden ideas for the third season of Cory: An Hero... if it happens. These ideas include a Valentine's Day dance, a Linkin Park concert, and even a school shooting!!

Also, the emails for the season finale, 2-4 Ask Cory Again, are officially chosen! It was a good turnout! Almost a whole baker's dozen of emails to choose from! Woooot!

Hey, the new Cory: An Hero episode has been out for awhile. Check 2-3 Repetition out now!



The season two finale is coming November. A promo video for the episode is coming out this week, prompting you kids to email Cory a question. Yes, just like season one's finale.

December 25th - Yes, this Christmas... a new Those Fat Americans trailer will be released.

January 29th - The all-new series I've been planning will be introduced with a trailer released on this date.

Those Fat Americans is locked in at a March 26, 2011 date.

I know I've been insanely sketchy with dates in the past, but lately things have been more organized and on task. Expect the dates to follow through, give or take a week subject to change.

Cat Talk 2 and other legit updates!

Oh hey gang! It's time for a good ol' update. First off, the other day I randomly got in the mood for filming so More Cat Talk with Mittens is freaking out. Yes, teh sequel. Laugh. Cry. Get offended.

In other news, the new Cory episode is still being worked on. This past month I've been getting more free time and motivation so these babies are gonna start poppin' out everywhere this fall. No foolin'. Repetition will be here soon. For now, enjoy the little clips I occasionally release on here. Another one will be posted this week. Also, the new "Ask Cory" style of episode will be coming November. So send Cory a question! His email is cory.lnknprklvr@hotmail.com. You never know, he just may read yours on the show. YEAAAAAAH you know it's your dream.

After season two of Cory: An Hero gets finally all wrapped up, Those Fat Americans will start its construction. And yes, this cartoon will actually mark a new era in my style in general. In other words, not half-assed. Expect a fresh trailer around Christmas time.

Finally, after season two of Cory I will also announce an ALL-NEW five-part series to be released next summer. And we're not just talking 1-2 minute long mini episodes here. We're talking between 4-6 minutes each. More details on this after I get my old projects out there.

Cory episode nearing completion and Fugleman randomly finished

Above is a sneak peak to the new Cory: An Hero episode 2-3 "Repetition". I'm seriously close to being finished with this. You'll finally get to see it soon.

Also, remember Fugleman? That collaboration project that we never finished? Well, I was looking through the old files the other day and decided to upload it with what was finished and add a little ending to it. And uh, it works. The cartoon is hilarious.



Remember, the purpose of the cartoon was to type out the keyword "fugleman" into Google Images and create a cartoon entirely made out of the image result. There's not much of a point to it. But in my opinion it's full of win.

Repetition is the longest Cory: An Hero episode yet! It's pushing over three minutes. It's getting close to being complete. Stay tuned.

The End of A Drought With No Updates Or Videos

Austin here. And well, the past 6 months have been really crazy for me. During this time I was sabbatical and didn't make a single cartoon or video and posted unpromising updates.

Well, I'm back.

Cory T-shirts are yes, put on hold, and will release AFTER the last two episodes of Cory coming up.

The new Cory: An Hero episode (first since January!) titled "Repetition" is coming next Friday.

Update on Cory T-Shirts

As usual, these are put off at the moment. I'm still going to post up the designs for these suckers, but not now. Why? Because I'm lazy. And the designs aren't done. Why? Because I'm lazy.

They'll be here I'm guessing mid-2010 sometime. I'll keep you posted.

New Cory's and Other Toons Happenin'

I haven't really been up to date on this blog as much as I want to.

But, in the next couple months the final episodes of Cory: An Hero will fall into place. The last two of season two. A third season is NOT going to be jumped into quickly. The series may end here. If enough fans demand another season, one will be made.

I'm much more interested in Those Fat Americans. This cartoon will showcase my new, improved writing and animating skills. That is, if I have any. Updates on this will start coming in after Cory finishes up.

Also, my church I attend has asked me to start creating videos for them. One is already complete! These videos are short and most (all) of my online viewers won't understand what they are about. haha. They aren't worth a YouTube upload, but they will all be uploaded to the YDP Archive here on Blogger.

Cory T-Shirts and More

Hello! Through CafePress, Cory: An Hero t-shirts are being created. They will arrive between November and December. And sorry, it is only for local fans. I am not selling these over the internet just yet. Too much postage and... yuck. The designs will be uploaded HERE until then.

And yes, a release date has slithered away from me once again. Gym Class will be finished by this Saturday, Halloween. But I seriously want it to be done before then... stay tuned.

New Live-Action Video and Fall Updates

Today me and some family and friends went through town filming funny things. We'll see how it turns out. The format is similar to Welcome to Watson. I'll be editing that tonight and it should be up tomorrow. The title will most likely be Another Day in the Life.

So, we still got most of Season Two of Cory to look forward to. You will lawl much harder than the first season. Guaranteed.

The final installment in the series, lemme see yo trilogy!!1! is coming out next month, featuring none other than Tom and me. Insanity.

Other than that, you can expect another live-action comedy starring Tom and myself before the year is out. We have some funny ideas up our sleeves.

And don't forget about Those Fat Americans. The only cartoon I have planned for 2010 at the moment, and it may actually stay that way. Season Three of Cory: An Hero is pretty much unlikely unless the series completely takes off and there is great demand. I have high hopes for TFA and think it is genuinely written well. The second trailer will be here around Thanksgiving season probably. But then again, I'm always shifting priorities.

So yeah, this entry is almost identical to another one posted a few entries down. Sweet.

Plans For 2010 and Fall '09 Schedule

Hello, fans. 2010 is already sneaking up on me. What does this mean? A whole new year of mediocre videos and cartoons! YAY!

Anyway, the first project to be released and completely focused on is Those Fat Americans. Yes, I originally was going to get it out there July of this year, but instead I chose to focus on my Cory: An Hero series instead. You can expect this toon around February this time around, with a second trailer that will release before 2009 is over.

I'm assuming Fugleman will finally get around to completion early next year as well.

What is being considered at the moment is a third season of Cory: An Hero. I'm not confirming nor denying a third season right now... but... yeah.

The rest of 2010 I want to move away from comedy a little bit and create some (animated?) music videos and direct a few live-action short films. We'll see where it all takes me.

Oh, but stay tuned! 2009 still brings great things!

As you are guessing, I am pushing back Those Fat Americans to a new, not-particular release date. It will release sometime before the end of this year. Yeah, I was going to be done with it on the 25th of July and then August... but now I just want to take my sweet-ass time with it all some more and give it a good treatment. It will be here before you know it, and I'm not going to keep making up release dates like I did last time to give me fans some hope. haha. Stay tuned.

I do have a few things up my sleeve this month, including a random short toon and a live-action video I made with a few of my friends.

Due To Low Demand...

Those Fat Americans is delayed a month. WHOA! HOLD UP! YOU SAID JULY 25 FOR REAL! WHERE'S THE TRAILER! UR GAY!

Well, this summer, my YouTube channel hasn't gotten as much traffic as I had hoped. There really isn't a demand for an epic four-minute cartoon at the moment. Plus, there has been multiple videos released already lately.

So I'm holding off a little bit. Keep in mind that this is NOT the same situation with Them Dirty Mexicans last year. That one was delayed due to laziness and bad animating skills. It was my first cartoon.

This one I want to be perfectly polished. I want this one to be the YouTube hit.

August 25, 2009. School will start. Word will spread around much quicker this way.

The trailer will be here sometime before then.

Those Fat Americans Update

I really put off the second trailer for this one, and I did it on purpose. But, you can expect it to be here by this weekend, July 11th.

Vacation

Sorry, I spent the last week on vacation and didn't have time to put the trailer together. It will be up in a couple days. New Cory episode July 1st.

I plan on releasing Cory: An Hero Episode 2-0 "Season Two Pilot" July 1st. About three weeks from now. Then the second season will be released starting in September, released monthly until December. I am really proud of Season Two of the series. I think everyone is going to like it.

Those Fat Americans: Not Quite As Pushed Off As The Last One Was!

So yes, a new trailer for this cartoon is coming within a few weeks, meaning production for the cartoon is going into Clampdown Mode.

Anywho, I'm kind of looking for a few voice actors to help out, and unlike Them Dirty Mexicans I am not going to make a science out of it and make fifty blog posts about it. So just tell me if you want to help out, eh?

July 25th is the date. I have had this date set since January. I plan to get it done by then. Yes.

In other news, a new episode of Cat Talk is in the works as well as the season two pilot of Cory: An Hero which will release early July.

Sorry About All The Delays and Lack of Updates

Sorry but the last month has been freaky and almost everything got pushed off and nothing really happened.

The Swine Flu toon and the TFA Trailer #2 are going to be released this month. Trust me on this ;)

Look here! TFA Trailer #2 and THE SWINE FLU! AHH!! are both pushed back, on purpose. I personally think all of a sudden that it is a little too early for another trailer for Those Fat Americans. Early June is a better time. And about the Swine Flu toon, it is pushed back to the 23rd of this month, due to a live-action comedy me and my friends did.

Unwillingly Delayed Again

I have a very strong motivation to finish Fugleman. I always have. I wanted to get it done in March. However, my partner is busy constantly and it always gets pushed back.

I wanted to get it done May 3rd as you may know, but we can't.

New Cartoon! (?!) and other stuffs

Second, the Cory Commentary is canceled for now. It will be released when it gets released.

Third, Fugleman is delayed obviously. Sysrq868 was too lazy to help me finish it. I hope to release it May 3rd.

Live-Action Films Coming Soon

I forgot to tell you that I am currently in the works of two short films.

The Predator is a comedy about a teen getting chased by someone. What is the reason? You'll find out...

Planting Seeds at Night is NOT a comedy at all. It is technically a music video to the song "...And Help You Sleep" by Project 86. Look it up.

Both of these will release within the next month or so.

Hey. As I said the other day, a director's commentary is coming out late April for the first season of Cory: An Hero. Stay tuned.

Also on the 19th a couple wallpapers are going to release as well. This time they will be 800x600 at least and will be AWESOME.

Lots of Things

I know I said this blog won't get updated for a while but WHO CARES.
There is actually a lot of things going on right now.

First off, there is this non-comedy project I am working on that isn't even a cartoon. It is something serious that I feel strongly about. It will be finished up in a couple days.

Second, a new Fred and Luigi will hopefully get done next weekend. HOPEFULLY.

Third, Fugleman is going great. April 25th!

Fourth, a director's commentary of the first season of Cory: An Hero will release sometime next week. I actually wrote some stuff down to talk about for this one.

Fifth, I have decided to make a SEASON TWO PILOT EPISODE for the next batch of Cory: An Hero episodes. Release date? August. haha

Sixth, I am also starting out on a huge collaboration project with a couple of my friends. We are attempting to make a well-thought out Flash series with great animation and actual drawings and art. Not just doodles like my cartoons now. xD It depends on what happens, but it could be here this summer. Who knows.

New Logo and More

Hello all my devoted fans. This blog post will be the only one for about a month so listen closely.

First off, I'm off to design a NEW YellowDart Productions logo! The design is very similar to the one I use now, but this time it will be animated. AN ANIMATED LOGO!!!!1

The first cartoon to use the logo will be Fugleman.

Speaking of Fugleman, there is a solid and reliable release date for the cartoon. April 25th. Stay tuned.

Season Finale of "Cory: An Hero" To Be 2:30 Long In Length!

1-4 Ask Cory, which will most definitely be released March 28th, will be the finale of season one!

All the voice acting is complete, and I must say that this episode will easily be over two minutes and thirty seconds in length.

My internet connection with email has been spazzy lately, so I haven't been able to talk to Sysrq868 much about our cartoon Fugleman.

March 14th could still possibly be the release date, but since this is a side-project we may take a break from it and instead I will release something else this weekend. Something unexpected.


Also, voice acting for Cory: An Hero Episode 1-4 "Ask Cory" start this week. I will positively get this done on the 28th. I will.

So, me and a guy (we will always call him Sysrq868) are making a cartoon together. He is much better at Flash than me, I think.

Here is the plot:

We take the word "fugleman" and type it into Google Images... and we make a cartoon using nothing but the images from that search. Genius.

He is composing the music himself as well.

Our self-made deadline is March 14th.

More News On Everything

I wrote another season of Cory: An Hero today. A third season. I'm not saying I am releasing a third season, because I personally don't think I could possibly be passionately on this project for another year or two... but you never know.

Episode 1-3 The Fire is off already as well. I'm already plotting the episode in my head, imagining the voice acting and how it will turn out. Watch it this Valentine's Day, though I have this feeling I may get it done sooner... but you know how that goes. This weekend, I plan to voice act the entire thing and this time I'll actually keep you updated with screenshots as they come in. (I did not put up any screens of the last episode during production)

Those Fat Americans Update and More

During the weeks of my computer virus, I sat down and wrote the entire script to one of my upcoming cartoons, Those Fat Americans, which is a sequel to Them Dirty Mexicans.

It is honestly hilarious. I'm proud of it.

Soon, (meaning February) I will make the first trailer for this cartoon. The release date? Summer '09.



And of course things are back on track with Cory: An Hero. Yesterday I did all the voice acting and tonight the majority of the cartoon will be animated. ...and if you can believe me I am releasing 1-2 Peer Pressure Sunday. mmkay?

Them Dirty Mexicans was originally going to be released on September 27, 2008. But then it got delayed to October 4th. Since all of us down at YDP are lazy-asses it got delayed again and was released on October 7th.

Cory: An Hero Pilot was originally slated for November 2008. But randomly, it was released on October 19.

Cory: An Hero 1-1 was supposed to come out December 28, 2008. But then it got bumped up like a whole month ahead and was slated for December 2nd. Alas, it was delayed again and was said to release "a couple weeks from December 2nd". But it was released only a few days afterward, on the 6th.

Cory: An Hero 1-2 was going to be released on January 4, 2009. But now it is delayed and going to release January 11.

Can you believe me?

Virus...

Christmas Eve I got this tank of a virus. It shut down my internet and sound card.

I couldn't work on Cory: An Hero.

However, I am back now and Episode 2's release date is now January 11th.

Cory Episode #2 Comin' Up

I'm starting off on this HILARIOUS second episode (three overall) of Cory: An Hero. I should have it done by January 4th.

I miraculously finished The Bus today. I have Premiere now, but the titles you see in the cartoon are still done in Movie Maker...

It looks cheesy still, but I like it that way.

The Last Time I Am Using Windows Movie Maker

WHAT WAS I THINKING?! I COULD GET AWAY WITH EDITING WITH MOVIE MAKER?!

Now it haunts me.

The episode itself looks BAD. Not horribly bad. But bad enough to where you are like "dude, you should of spent some more time into it."

Anyway, down to the real problem.

I Googled the hell out of this problem. No solution.

Windows Movie Maker will not save my 1:42 long movie.

At all.

I am getting Adobe Premiere now.

Microsoft, I probably will get a Mac the next time I have the chance. Your program sucks.



THE VERDICT:

Cory: An Hero Episode 1-1 "The Bus" is unfortunately delayed. I would hope for a release in a week or two. This time around I will have Premiere and the episode will be touched up. Sorry.

Two seasons of eight episodes all together of my Flash series "Cory: An Hero" are fully written. I am planning to release all of them. So, here is the official announcement:

1-1 - The Bus - December 6, 2008
After waking up from a bad dream, Cory is late for the school bus. Even after a frantic sprint to the bus stop, he fails to catch it.

1-2 - Peer Pressure - January 11, 2009
After a grueling detention, Cory finds three teens doing drugs. They coax him to try some with them. In the end, Cory gets caught.

1-3 - The Fire - February 7, 2009
During a frustrating day for Cory in English class, a fire develops in the school.

1-4 - Ask Cory - March 29, 2009
Cory answers real viewers' questions!



2-1 - The Concert - September 2009
After a fun-filled Linkin Park concert, Cory goes to the band's merch booth to meet them. But will they like Cory?

2-2 - Gym Class - October 2009
Cory's luck runs out in dodgeball during Gym class.

2-3 - Life After Death - November 2009
After a deadly accident while cleaning his mom's guns, Cory goes to heaven to meet God.

2-4 - Ask Cory Again - December 2009
Cory answers real viewers' questions AGAIN!


If this works out, a third season will be made.

A Flash mini-series about a teen's small over-exaggerated misadventures with his peers and family. Each episode is approximately one minute in length. Working As Fast As I Can! ...and some other updates...

I've been pushing myself to finish these last scenes on TDM. October 4th is still the goal, but I might have to touch it up and release it EARLY on the 5th.

ALSO:

After I finish this project, I will complete two new episodes of my Fred and Luigi series (for info see www.fredandluigi.blogspot.com), which will start being released this December. After that, I plan to release some more Flash movies. Some ideas include a short called "Do a Barrel Roll" (Google the phrase and you'll understand what that means), a mini-series to be released periodically, and maybe a sequel to Them Dirty Mexicans, most likely to make fun of Americans.

Production Update

Them Dirty Mexicans has been not worked on in the last couple weeks. Well, it has, but the scene I am currently am working on is hard and it usually turns out pretty bad... and I can't use it.

I plan to have that scene done for good this Monday night, August 11th.

Before school starts on the 19th I am hoping to get another scene going/done. The Border Patrol one.

Yeah, if any of you want to be a voice actor, be my guest.

I'd still expect the toon this September. Mid-September maybe.

Bridge Scene Scrapped For Trailer

As I was reviewing my scene for the trailer... it looked rubbish.

So I have decided to scrap the bridge scene for the trailer and replace it with the "Thing I Learned in Life" scene. Don't worry, the bridge scene will still be in the real animation though.

So now the trailer should be up within a week! HONEST!!

Hooray! My dad bought a nice new widescreen monitor. So the cartoon is back on track!

Monitor A-Splosions

April 30, 2008. 9:45 PM. My brother was using the computer. That's when the screen suddenly shrunk and the unit started to hiss. Ya. So... I turn my head and look at my brother and the computer. (I was nearby) It hisses louder. It takes one last breath... (really. It sounded like it was breathing) and goes up in smoke. A foul plasticy smell fills up the room as smoke gets in my eyes.

Yeah, my computer monitor blew up Wednesday.

So... until the family gets a new one, the cartoon is on hold for awhile. So no trailer or anything until that.

Yep, it sucks.

New Headset n' Stuff

Well lately I figured out my old microphone headset I used to have broke. It just stopped all of a sudden. Yeah, so I went to Wal-Mart and got this beast!













So now the voice acting will be pretty amazing.

Oh yeah, more good news. If things work out, I should have the trailer already here by next weekend! =D

First Scene In Production

I got 40 seconds of the animation done. Alas, the first scene is still not quite done. This movie may be longer than I thought. I may have to weed out some of the scenes I wrote down on my storyboards if it is too long, and we all don't want that to happen....
I'll finish the first scene all the way by next weekend.

This Weekend

I'm going to attempt the first scene on my cartoon. It is a stone bridge scene. I hope I can pull this off.

It's Taking Shape! It Is!

I wrote down my first... well, "storyboards" you can call 'em, about my debut animation. I don't have them scanned or posted anywhere (there's not too much to see yet) but I can give you some details about my upcoming animation.

It is titled controversially as Them Dirty Mexicans.

I'm not racist. It's just about, you know, the illegal ones.

The illegal ones.

So, yeah, it is not specifically about a German, American, and a whatever like I posted earlier....

It will be a series of short-shorts ranging from 5 to 50 seconds each. A montage of montages.

That's enough for now. I'm going to try to do the first scene during the weekend of April 11th and I'll keep you posted.



My goal is to finish August 7th. And have a trailer June 7th.

News On New Toon

Yep. I know nobody really reads my blog. So what? I love talking to myself.

A question I have been asking myself for a long time. My Fred and Luigi's are fun to make, but they are not made on an animating program. I have Flash Pro, but....
